European regulations on Green Homes may or may not be liked. However, they are now an approved and ratified objective at European Community level. It will therefore be necessary to adapt. But what to start with for energy saving? From photovoltaics? From changing the boiler? From thermal insulation? From fixtures? <\/p> \n \n

Sometimes the choice is forced. I have old and broken window frames, maybe single-glazed (!). Or I have a boiler that is too old and is costing me too much in maintenance and consumption. But if I have no urgency, what to start with for energy saving? <\/p> \n \n

If I can choose, there is only one answer: the thermal insulation of the walls and roof (if I am in a detached house).<\/p> \n \n

Why would this be the best choice? For a very simple reason: if my house disperses energy (heat in winter, when I turn on the heating; and I get heat in summer because I have inadequately insulated walls and\/or roof), my consumption will be higher. Also, if I change, for example, my boiler or air conditioner, the output of these appliances will have to be higher than in the case of an insulated building or flat. <\/p> \n \n

So there is only one answer to the question \u2018for energy savings, what should I start with? If I have a choice, the first choice is thermal insulation! If I then have a house or flat with adequate insulation, I can spend less on changing the boiler, or the window frames, or the air conditioner as well as photovoltaics. <\/p> \n \n

\"Energy<\/a><\/figure> \n \n

But which coat to choose? The only honest advice that can be given is to choose a product that is breathable, moisture-proof and fireproof, as well as having good performance and ecological and sustainable characteristics as required by the new regulations. If I am then in a flat, or for any other reason cannot work on the outside, then it will be a compulsory choice to go for a very thin insulation, even better if a nano-ceramic. <\/p> \n \n
